In a commercial environment “being human-centered” is a philosophy, a belief that focusing on humans when defining and delivering products will be valuable to the organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Design”\nis also a philosophy, a set of method stances for solving wicked problems such\nas those posed when we want to make it possible for humans to change with the\nhelp of a product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My view is that in the product definition work the role of product designer<\/em> contains the roles of ethnographic researcher<\/em>, concept developer<\/em>, interaction specialist<\/em>, information architect<\/em> and possibly art director<\/em>.
